1. What is a cue?
A cue is a life anchor that already happens daily — brushing teeth after waking, finishing a meal, lying down before bed. By attaching your new habit to an existing cue you stop relying on memory or willpower to trigger it.
2. How does the AI nudge work?
When your cue time arrives, Habitforge AI reads your last 7 days of completions (done / skipped / failed), your current streak, and the motivation you wrote when creating the habit. It then generates a single contextual sentence — not a generic 'Time to do X!' but a genuinely personalised push.
3. What happens when I keep failing?
After 3 consecutive failures, AI automatically shifts to soft-recovery mode: the nudge tone softens, and it suggests your habit's minimum viable version (fallback) — e.g. 'just do one push-up'. The goal is to protect the streak and remove the psychological barrier, not to make you feel guilty.
4. Where is my data stored?
Habit data and completion logs are stored in a Supabase secure cloud database with row-level security (each user's data is fully isolated). AI nudges are generated via our self-hosted AI gateway — your queries are not retained by any third-party LLM provider.
5. How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Pro features stay usable until then.
6. How do I delete my account?
App → Profile → Account settings → Delete account. After your confirmation, all data (habits, completion logs, AI nudge history) is cascade-deleted immediately and permanently erased from our servers within 7 days.
